With so many great destinations to choose from, it’s easy to forget about Belize and all the wonders it has to offer. While there are countries that can offer some of what Belize can provide, only this beautiful country is a microcosm of culture, architecture, art, food, and nature. Still not convinced? Here are four reasons to make your next vacation a Belize vacation:

  1. The beaches – Let’s be honest, no matter how much you love the beach, a crowded, dirty, or just downright mediocre beach can’t compare with one that’s clean, pristine, and sparsely attended. Belize’s beaches are some of the best in the world and because there are just so many to choose from, it’s easy to forget that you are actually in a modern country and haven’t washed up on your own private beach somewhere in the Caribbean. You simply won’t find better beaches anywhere else in the world.
  1. Best diving and snorkeling around – This isn’t just our opinion—it’s fact. Nowhere else in the world can you find the same variety of places to dive and snorkel, many within walking distance of your resort. Protected reefs abound here and sightings not just of tropical fish, but nurse and whale sharks, as well as sea turtles and rays are extremely common. Plus, the water is just the right temperature and just the right clarity to make snorkeling or scuba diving a fantastic event.
  1. Variety – When you visit some countries, you have to love the ocean in order to have a good time or to take part in any of the activities they have to offer. That’s just not true when you plan a Belize vacation. If swimming, snorkeling, boating, and diving aren’t your speed, there is plenty to do inland, as well. From treks through the jungle, to exploring Mayan ruins, to visiting animal preserves, to trying local cuisine, there’s plenty even for the land lubber to do.
  1. No language barrier – Traveling to a “foreign” country can sometimes be frightening for those that don’t speak a foreign language. When you pick Belize for your vacation, you’ll find that many of the Belizean people speak English, eliminating the anxiety that can sometimes come along with traveling to another country.
